Mohammad Qasum Khan was born in Panjshir Province in a high educated family .He completed his primary school in Bazarak Panjshir .His high school was completed in Kabul Ibn-e- Sina High School .

He studied science in Kabul University.Subsequently, he travelled to United State of America for his higher education, where he had obtained his degree in science from Miami University of Science from USA in 1353 . He worked as translator of the schools teaching programs and book editing till 1371 He died in Pakistan in 2002.
